Because I have insomnia...

Hello blogging world....or at least Cristina.

I am sitting here on my couch trying to become sleepy and go to bed, so I decided I would try to blog something to try to get closer to those zzz's. (run-on sentence, yes I know)

So what shall I talk about...

In this last month I have:

  • Become a God Mother 3 times over.
  • Achieved my highest score bowling - a 176 - And by doing so, became bowler of the week for a second time during this summer's League Games.
  • Saw a few concerts, which included the artists:
Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Tesla, Trapt, Powerman 5000, Pop Evil, Ingrid Michaelson, Nosebleed Academy, NOFX, 3Oh!3, All Time Low, Chiodos, Thrice, Single File, YB (from South Korea), and others.
  • Saw GI: Joe, the latest Harry Potter, and District 9
  • Volunteered as an ASL Interpreter at 6 Flags Discovery Kingdom
  • Previewed some of the exhibits at the State Fair with some friends
  • Saw the Off Broadway play, "Forever Plaid" and LOVED IT! I am going to see it again next month.
  • Was furloughed 3 days
  • Gave the Governor some ways to help with the budget deficit through Twitter using the hashtag #MyIdea4CA
  • Started the Fall Semester at ARC
  • Got asked to submit an application for a new job after someone saw my resume that I submitted for another job
  • Made new friends
  • Celebrated friends Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, and remembered some family members deaths through celebrating their life - RIP Grandpa, I love and miss you more than words can say.
  • Reaffirmed my love affair with TiVo
  • Realized that I am addicted to Vampire Wars on Facebook
  • Met cute boys
  • Decided to do a West Coast Tour next year with a good friend
  • Started the new season of True Blood
  • Re-watched the first season of Sons of Anarchy in anticipation for the new season next month
  • Became more smitten with Mike Rowe
  • Oh - and of course I'm going to Disneyland, but that is technically next month...
I guess that is kind of a lot to do in 1 month; But still, I feel I could have done soooo much more. Bring on September!!
