So I am listening to my new next door neighbor cuss out his kids, possibly hit them, or throw things at them, (heard a yell and a big crash and some more cussing) calling them a holes, f*ckers, among other things. I believe he is also doing this to his dog, because now I hear a dog whining. And I am wondering; Why are people like this allowed to procreate and be responsible for any living thing?
It amazes me that people like this can be responsible for other living creatures. I want to call CPS and the SPCA (since, the county shelter, even though it is closer, is not the one that oversees Rancho), but I know they won't do anything unless I have proof. So what is a concerned citizen to do? Do I publicize his address and wait to see what happens, do I continue to do nothing and wait to see what happens, do I call CPS or the SPCA and risk someone coming out but not doing anything except make the situation worse? I don't want retaliation against my family, including my dogs. We think he has already assaulted our pit bull. He has taught his children to yell and cuss at our dogs if they start to bark because they are messing around in the backyard. Who knows what else he is capable of.
All I know is I can say that I do not like our new neighbors, and I fear they are raising their children to be as bad of citizens as they are; to abuse people and animals, and god knows what else.
What is this world and it's inhabitants coming to?
